The challenge
For several years, Scootpallet had been looking for a solution to provide more insight into the rental
mobility scooters. Specifically, there were the following requirements:
- What mobility scooters have been rented?
- What is the battery status in relation to whether or not to recharge the battery?
- The exact location of the mobility scooters when they are rented out
- A notification via SMS or Push message when they leave a certain area
- To be able to remotely turn the mobility scooters on - and/or off and operate the lights. In doing so, the information had to be accessible both via web and a mobile app.
Our solution
This customer had been looking for such a solution for over 1.5 years and was very surprised that HublogiQ could show a working solution within 2 weeks.
Especially the fact that the platform could easily tick off the wish list and a competitive price for the hardware ensured that more than 100 mobility scooters are now equipped with this system and to everyone’s satisfaction.

We are currently working on a model in which a mobility scooter can be rented via a QR code, thus eliminating the need for a person to intervene.
